Jack Karabees, Co-Founder, OnCall.MD
Jack is the Co-Founder of OnCall.MD, www.oncall.md. Jack previously served as President and CEO of Consult A Doctor, a telehealth technology and services company from company start-up through their successful acquisition by Kleiner Perkins-backed Teladoc (TDOC), www.teladoc.com. Mr. Karabees was also Executive Vice President of Corporate Finance, Sales & Marketing for Entic, www.entic.com, a cloud-based predictive analytics and optimization platform for hospitals and large healthcare facilities, from start-up through their acquisition by Blackstone Group, LP (BX), www.blackstone.com and subsequent sale to Aquicore, www.aquicore.com.
Preceding that time, Jack was Senior Vice President of Sales and Marketing with eLabor, a cloud-based Nursing-specfic Time & Attendance, Project Management and Human Resources application provider to the hospital and healthcare industries from early-stage, through separate divisional acquisitions by Microsoft (MSFT), www.microsoft.com and ADP (ADP), www.adp.com. Karabees served honorably in the United States Air Force.

Desmond Watt, PA-C, is a co-founder of PAs in Virtual Medicine and Telemedicine and immediate past president of the executive board. He has practiced in virtual care for over 6 years with a national independent primary care organization, and has spent a significant portion of that time in virtual care design, delivery and workflow optimization. He is a passionate advocate for the PA role in virtual care as a critical part of our healthcare future, and believes strongly that PAs must take a leadership position within the rapidly growing virtual care space.
During his tenure as PAVMT Board President, Desmond has spoken to large audiences of PA and healthcare executives, professionals, PA program faculty and students regarding telemedicine and PA advocacy and leadership within this field of care.
