    The NRTRC is proud to announce that they are partnering with the Behavioral Health Institute to offer TeleBehavioral Health Training Series 501.
    TeleBehavioral Health: Telehealth and Substance Use Disorder Treatment
    Please join us on Friday, March 15, at 11 a.m. - 12 p.m. (PT) for our third TeleBehavioral Health CME/CEU accredited 501 series presentation.
    Mark Duncan, MD
    Dr. Duncan will describe how telehealth is used for SUD treatment, review the evidence base and special considerations for SUD care over telehealth, and discuss ways to use telehealth to increase access, including lessons learned using a phone app.
    Attendees will learn:
    • Describe how telehealth is used for SUD treatment.
    • Highlight what the evidence says about using telehealth for SUD treatment.
    • Discuss lessons learned from using a phone app to deliver CM for Methamphetamine use.
    • Develop an understanding of special considerations for SUD telehealth treatment.
    • Identify ways to use telehealth to increase access to treatment.
    Dr. Duncan is dually trained in addiction psychiatry and family medicine and is an Associate Professor in Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences at the University of Washington. His work focuses on increasing the integration of substance use disorder services to primary care settings across the state of Washington.
    His areas of experience in telehealth includes delivering direct patient care, supporting providers via the Provider Consultation hotline and UW Psychiatry and Addiction Case Consultation ECHO clinic, and the use of a smart phone app to deliver contingency management.
