    The Center for Connected Health Policy (CCHP) reports on Licensure Complexities Related to Using Telehealth Across State Lines. A report from the Cicero Institute notes that three states have received recognition for the most extensive telehealth policy updates in 2023, and Utah and Idaho have made the list!

    New Funding Opportunity
    USDA Distance Learning and Telemedicine (DLT) Program grants have opened for fiscal year 2024 with an expected $60 million in funds available to enable and improve distance learning and telemedicine services in rural areas.
    Eligible entities include government agencies, Tribes and non-profit organizations. Applications are due April 29.

    Register for an engaging follow-up to the Strategies for Advancing Health Equity within Health Centers webinar, offering a unique opportunity to receive coaching on crafting a health equity plan (HEP) for your health center’s specific needs. Utilizing CHCI best practices as a framework, participants will have the knowledge and confidence to create a comprehensive and valuable resource to steer their health equity initiatives. March 19, 11:00 a.m.- 12:00 p.m.
    Health Equity Across the AI Lifecycle - AI-Enabled Digital Health Services Series: The material will cover the intended use of AI products and highlight the risks associated with inappropriate use. The course will cover various threats to AI product performance, including changes in population demographics, clinical practice patterns, and professional work environments. Lastly, the course will explore how bias and discrimination can result from using AI products and will train physicians to identify and mitigate health inequities that can result from using AI products. March 19, 1:00 p.m. - 2:00 p.m.
