    NCTRC Webinar - Inpatient eConsults

National Consortium of Telehealth Resource Centers
In an effort to have safer and more efficient consults, the University of Virginia (UVA) implemented the eConsult model for the inpatient setting. In the midst of the COVID-19 response, this also means less exposure and use of PPE and resources. As an early adopter of the eConsult model, UVA had a robust ambulatory program. However, inpatient eConsults required certain changes to the work-flow, in addition to applying new billing and coding parameters.
