Telemedicine is an integral part of patient care in all specialties. PAs have been delivering care via this modality for many years, even prior to the pandemic. It's vital that PAs be involved in conversations regarding the future of telemedicine during this time of rapid growth, legislative changes, and widespread usage of telemedicine. PAs need to be aware of not only what is happening nationally, but also locally. It's my goal as Director at Large to be a conduit of information and communication for members in the region.
